Annie definitely enjoyed catching her fish much more than big sister Emma!
KDOG even had fun, and he really does know how to smile.
The girls absolutely loved walking through Christopher Creek with big brother. Storms the previous week had over 15' of water running right through this spot.
I even got in the act. All photo evidence of my stumbling around on the rocks have been purged from existence.
This bird was really close to our boat, so Bunches snapped his pic.
This past weekend we loaded up the clan and went north for some fun out of the sun. Christopher Creek is just north and east of Payson, AZ very near the Mogollon Rim. We had a cabin right on the creek, which the week before experienced a flash flood. Nearly 16 feet of water was jamming through it as water ran down off the Rim and through the creek.
Highlights of the weekend included:
The most expensive fish chunks ever recorded.
Ever try filleting fish with a dull knife?
Never put two children, a teenager, and a husband/wife team in a boat powered by a trolling motor.
Catching fish at a hatchery is easy, fun, and not inexpensive - especially when you have to fillet your catch with a dull knife!
No Emma, we are not there - yet!
Annie is still too young to not have her nap.
Enjoy some of the pix - they're far more interesting.
