Emma and Annie came home with school pictures this past week. E's was taken before she elected to have all of her hair cut off. It's now very short and looks so awesome. Still, this picture is very sweet.
Annie - I just love this picture of her. We asked that she get to go first at her pre-school. We weren't sure how long she could keep her dress clean and the curl in her hair. This turned out awesome!

More Summer Time Pix
Annie definitely enjoyed catching her fish much more than big sister Emma!
KDOG even had fun, and he really does know how to smile.
The girls absolutely loved walking through Christopher Creek with big brother. Storms the previous week had over 15' of water running right through this spot.
I even got in the act. All photo evidence of my stumbling around on the rocks have been purged from existence.
This bird was really close to our boat, so Bunches snapped his pic.

A CABINING WE WILL GO
This past weekend we loaded up the clan and went north for some fun out of the sun. Christopher Creek is just north and east of Payson, AZ very near the Mogollon Rim. We had a cabin right on the creek, which the week before experienced a flash flood. Nearly 16 feet of water was jamming through it as water ran down off the Rim and through the creek.
Highlights of the weekend included:
- The most expensive fish chunks ever recorded.
- Ever try filleting fish with a dull knife?
- Never put two children, a teenager, and a husband/wife team in a boat powered by a trolling motor.
- Catching fish at a hatchery is easy, fun, and not inexpensive - especially when you have to fillet your catch with a dull knife!
- No Emma, we are not there - yet!
- Annie is still too young to not have her nap.

ZOO PARTY
Our family received passes to the Zoo from Cousin Uncle Bob and his family for Christmas this year. Thanks to the Warren's we had an awesome day of family fun.
Chana and I rented a bike that allowed us to tote the girls around the Zoo. We also rented a paddle boat and moseyed around the pond. Here are some of the animals we took extra time to see.
Annie loves Elephants. She has a stuffed elephant named "mama".
Emma loves Tigers. Her stuffed animal is "Stripe". Not the best picture of the tiger - he was asleep when we visited.
Here are some of the better pix from the day!
